THE BOUDOIR ANNIVERSARY GIFT: HOW TO SAY 'I DO' ALL OVER AGAIN
A reasonable percentage of my clients are bridal boudoir clients who want to create the ultimate groom's gift to show their love and passion -- the Bridal Boudoir Album.
But even more than the blushing brides, there are a growing number of women who choose to say I DO all over again through boudoir. They book ANNIVERSARY BOUDOIR sessions.
What I think makes anniversary boudoir so incredibly amazing is that it satisfies almost all of the anniversary year themes, in one way or another.
Because the LIFE AS FINE ART BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY is one of the few New Jersey Boudoir studios that will completely customize an album to your liking, the possibilities are nearly endless, It's amazingly fun to brainstorm this with anniversary boudoir clients.
Is it your silk or linen anniversary (12 years) for example? We could create a linen album in a linen heirloom box with silk paper! BOOM.
So, let me tell you the story about customization. It's a fairy tale of the most amazingly beautiful creature who was celebrating her first wedding anniversary...
Recently, Mrs. M came to me expressing interest in creating a boudoir album as her very FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY GIFT. She wanted to make it ultra special, but also wanted to celebrate herSELF as she is NOW, before the next milestone of starting a family.
She wanted this gift to be beautiful, high fashion, and sentimental -- just like her wedding day.
Mrs. M celebrated two weddings -- first her traditional Indian wedding celebration full of colorful glamour and hundreds of guests, and then her American wedding with her handsome Latino husband, honoring his family traditions as well.
She asked me if we could include some of the glamorous elements from her wedding day, and I cannot lie -- I did the dance of joy. Between her exotic beauty (I mean -- SHE. IS. DROP. DEAD. GORGEOUS.)...
...and the luxe details of her Indian wedding, I was all over this.
She brought her wedding shoes, custom Indian bridal Jewelry (learn about this here.) and a tikka headpiece to accompany the cathedral-length veil we keep at the studio.
Her vision for the album itself was equally elaborate, choose one of the most chic FASHION ALBUMS style in bridal white, in size 12x18' featuring over 70 boudoir images laid out in a HUGE artistic display. It is truly one of the most impressively sized albums I've created in a long time.
"I'm only going to live this part of my life once," said Mrs. M, "...and I want the album to reflect who I am, we are right now."
Her wonderful husband came along for the Premiere Viewing Appointment to select images as part of their anniversary gift. They sipped Italian Prosecco together in my beautifully redecorated Viewing Room, enjoyed croissants, and laughed and snuggled. Then followed up the morning with a beautiful outdoor anniversary lunch and boat ride in Red Bank.
Needless to say Mr. M selected almost every single photo of his beautiful bride. Including the digitals he purchased for himself! ;)
They kindly allowed my studio to share these images (I mean... let's show her off to the world!), and the response to her session and album has been overwhelming.
She had the perfect idea in mind -- and we executed it perfectly, TOGETHER. Thank you Mrs. M for being as spectacular as you are, and for letting others experience it, too.
